  • As a high-quality Voluntary Carbon Markets Standard, ORMEX implements an effective and well-organized governance structure and framework, with clear definitions of duties and responsibilities. 

    ORMEX Governance is based on a publicly available decision-making process. The governance structure is transparent and accountable for its decisions.

  • We continuously develop collaboration with stakeholders and other VCM programs and organizations (international organizations, civil societies, scientific communities, local communities…) for the design and improvement of the Program.

  • The ORMEX PROGRAM is designed on an innovative blockchain solution.

    This diversity of views and high level of expertise ensures a high-quality program.

    It combines users’ experiences and feedback with the initial and regular involvement of experts and other stakeholders.

    We are organized to continually improve the program and our digital solution, all by staying on purpose.

  • The Governance and Program Development principles must ensure that

    • the Standard requirements,

    • Methodologies,

    • carbon credit issuances,

    • high-integrity environmental and social attributes,

    • and related claims

    are based on robustness, accuracy and truthfulness, and consequently can be trusted by the stakeholders to enable their informed choices.

  • Significant positive Environmental and social integrity impacts are mainstay of the agroecology principles and a significant part of the Program.

Ormex Governance Organization

ORMEX's governance & organization can deal with all issues relating to the definition and evolution of the ORMEX STANDARD, in order to maintain the level of quality expected by the Voluntary Carbon Market, and to meet the best market requirements.

ORMEX's organization is able to deal with all issues relating to the definition and evolution of the Program, in order to maintain the level of quality expected by the VCM and to meet the best market requirements.
